For 10 years, FourthCanvas has worked with good people to build great brands. Much of that work depends on thoughtful coordination happening behind the scenes. Projects move forward because someone is creating clarity, maintaining momentum, protecting quality, and ensuring that commitments—between teammates, collaborators, and clients—do not get lost in the complexity of the work.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who cares deeply about the work, the people, the reason we do what we do and the clients trusting us to deliver it.
This is how we imagine that person:
- A little more than basic decency. You are not only being polite, you are genuinely thoughtful and considerate of others.
- Calm ownership. When things become unclear, delayed, or difficult, you do not wait for someone else to solve it. You ask questions, create clarity, surface risks early, and help the work move forward.
- Confidence-building communication. You communicate clearly, proactively, and thoughtfully. You know how to keep clients and teams aligned, informed, and confident, even when projects become complex.
- Bringing perspectives together. You are comfortable working with strategists, designers, developers, product teams, clients, and other collaborators. You know how to listen carefully, navigate differing viewpoints, and help people move toward shared understanding and thoughtful decisions without losing what matters.
- Documentation as leadership. You understand that projects succeed or fail based on what is captured, communicated, and shared. You create documentation that helps everyone move confidently.
- Good judgement. You value systems and processes, but you understand they exist to serve the work. You know when to follow them closely and when to adapt them thoughtfully.
- Care for people. You understand that great work comes from healthy teams. You know how to challenge people respectfully, support them thoughtfully, and help them succeed without lowering standards.
- Protecting the work. You understand that timelines, budgets, and deliverables matter, but you also know that great work requires thought, care, and room to be done properly.
- Relentless follow-through. You do not assume things will happen because they should. You ensure they happen because you take responsibility for moving them forward.
- Stewardship. You understand that great project management is not only about delivering work successfully, but about improving the conditions that make successful delivery possible. You strengthen systems, close gaps, and help teams work better over time.
Role & Responsibilities

- Creating and maintaining clear project documentation, including briefs, meeting notes, action trackers, status updates, and delivery plans.
- Maintaining steady, proactive communication so that expectations, progress, and next steps are consistently understood by everyone involved.
- Identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies early, and helping teams respond before they affect momentum or quality.
- Helping teams maintain momentum through shifting priorities, ensuring work does not stall in ambiguity or misalignment.
- Tracking commitments made across teams and clients, and ensuring they are visible, understood, and followed through.
- Supporting conversations that clarify trade-offs and ensure decisions are well understood, documented, and implemented.
