The FourthCanvas Code of Care was developed out of the intention to make our core values as practical as possible. We wanted a guide with which we can hold one another accountable. How do our core values affect how we show up in meetings, or how we give feedback? How does it affect how we learn or push the boundaries of our ideas?
We intended it for ourselves, but once we had the first finished version in our hands, it was clear how much of a reference this could become for other teams, and how many people out there could benefit from imbibing our core values, especially as we have laid it out.
We hope that this resource inspires more intentional workplaces. We imagine it would make a valuable study for anyone committed to building a great place to work and flourish.
